Micro Mover

The Micro Mover is Composed of Pantographs to reduce the user's motion and triple the user's precision and accuracy.

One of the usecases for Micro Mover is for placement of fine pitch microchips and small components onto Printed Circuit Boards (PCB's).

The Micro Mover can be mounted on simple vice.

The Micro Mover is suitable for both professionals and hobbyists.

A Simple Pantograph A simple pantograph maintains a scale factor between joints. The Red line will always be half as long as the Blue line.
A simple pantograph has hinge joints that either have slack or jittery friction that decrease accuracy and precision.
A simple pantograph however does not allow rotation without moving left/right or up/down.

The Micro Mover The Micro Mover incorporates pantographs in such a way that allows for rotation at a single point without moving left/right or up/down.
The Micro Mover contains no hinge joints, but instead uses compliant joints (bendy joints) that have no slack or jittery friction.

Independent Grabbing Mechanism The Micro Mover's two pentograhs can move independently of each other to grab any applicable tool. This allows the user to pick up components with the Micro Mover itself.
This mechanism also allows the tool to be rotated 90 degrees to get the perfect alignment of the component. Also, because the force required to squeeze the tweezers is reduced, the users hand can relax even more to be even steadier.
