                        A common Ailment of typists is carpal tunnel which is caused by Wrist Extension.
                        

                        The HAIKU Ergonomic Keyboard is designed to fit in your hand without Wrist Extension
                    

                
                    

                        Wrist Pronation
                        Standard Keyboards require the relaxed hand to Pronate for the tips of the fingers to lay flat on the keys.
                        

                        The HAIKU Ergonomic Keyboard is designed around the position that the user considers comfortable, not flat robots.
                    

                
                    

                        Ulnar Deviation
                        Standard Keyboards require the hand to be rotated away from the body in an uncomfortable way. Long term Ulnar Deviation can lead to Ulnar Drift for some individuals
                        

                        The HAIKU Ergonomic Keyboard is designed around the position that the user considers comfortable. It does not require the user to uncomfortably rotate their hand.
                    

                
                    

                        Key Distribution
                        The Thumb is arguably the most dexterous finger, and the pinky is amoung the lest dexterous. Yet Standard Keyboards distribute 10x amount of keys to the pinky than the thumb! 
                        

                        The HAIKU Ergonomic Keyboard is designed around the position that the user considers comfortable. The user has the option to choose the key distribution.

 There are solutions to each of the ailments mentioned above. There are even solutions to multiple ailments, but there was no solution to all of them. The HAIKU Ergonomic Keyboard was designed to relieve all mentioned discomforts and more of typing.
